SYRINGA Wireless is a consortium of five long standing, local Idaho telecommunication companies who banded together to form a new cellular company called Syringa Wireless, LLC.  While Syringa Wireless is a new company the member owners of Syringa Wireless have been serving Idahoans for many years.  Owner partners include: Albion Telecommunication Company (ATC – 79yrs in Idaho) , Direct Communications of Rockland (54yrs in Idaho), Filer Mutual Telephone (99yrs in Idaho), Silver Star Communications based in Freedom, Wyoming and serving the Driggs and Victor Idaho areas (60 yrs in Idaho), and Project Mutual Telephone (PMT) of Rupert (92 yrs in Idaho).

Syringa Wireless is a new cellular phone service that is available in southern and eastern Idaho. We offer National, Local, Regional and Corporate service plans. Our local service network encompasses the major communities of Rexburg, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Twin Falls, and Jackson Hole and their surrounding areas. We have multiple roaming agreements with national carriers that allow us to offer unmatched coverage throughout the United States. Rather than just using one major carrier network to roam on as our competition does, we use several major carrier networks.  This gives us flexibility so if one major carrier network isn’t available in a certain geographic area, we switch to one of our other national roaming partners networks, thus allowing Syringa Wireless to have fantastic national coverage.  Roaming is included with selected service plans and is available to our customers at NO additional charge.

Technology:
Syringa Wireless uses a CDMA platform and will include voice, text and picture messaging, and WAP, a web browsing interface. Additionally, Syringa Wireless offers all of the latest in accessories including many Bluetooth compatible products.  Syringa Wireless strives to offer the latest models of CDMA phones from many of the industry leaders in wireless handset technology. Syringa Wireless originally opened our doors on January 2nd of 2007 in Twin Falls. We have since added four more stores, Pocatello (2), Jerome & Idaho Falls.  Syringa Wireless is also available in our owner’s retail stores. Combined we have fourteen retail locations in Southern Idaho.  Syringa Wireless headquarters is located at 200 South Main Street in Pocatello and includes a retail store and corporate offices.
