Low cost protection for your wireless phone
As a service to our customers, Syringa Wireless offers Phone Guard, a low cost protection against loss and
damage of your wireless phone. This program covers damage not covered under manufacturer warranty.
How to enroll
You must enroll your handset at time of purchase, or at time of contract renewal that includes any new
handset.
Replacement guidelines
Phone Guard provides repair or replacement coverage for your wireless phone in the event of loss,
theft or damage that is beyond repair. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear to your
phone.
Coverage will begin 30 days following subscription to the service.
Phones may be replaced with a “like phone” having “like features” and as of similar value. We do
not and cannot guarantee your replacement phone will be one of your choosing, but rather one of
ours as they are made available to us.
Two claims will be allowed per 24 month period.
No cash reimbursements will be paid.
Any phone having a claim made towards it will become the immediate property of
Syringa Wireless if it should become available.
In order to make a claim, usage must be present on your account immediately before the claim.
In the event of a loss...
Immediately contact a law enforcement official, file a report, and request a copy of the case
number and police report in the event of theft, vandalism or vehicle accident.
Call a Syringa Wireless customer service representative to report the loss within 24 hours of the
documented loss.
Provide the name, type of the wireless phone and the details of the loss. Damaged phone should
be brought to Syringa Wireless retail. For lost or stolen phones you must provide a copy of the filed
police report.
